Just wanted to share my school’s Teacher Appreciation week gifts:

A ball cap with the school logo, but only for people returning next year. So teachers being transferred/laid off due to our district’s budget crisis or those leaving for other jobs? No crappy hat for you;

A $5 coupon at the school store, redeemable for a shirt we have to wear at a field day event;

A chocolate bar.

Sandwiches from Subway, paid for by some teacher life insurance salesman so we had to sit through their presentation before eating
