New employee what should we buy?
Our 18-year-old son graduates from high school this weekend and starts school in the fall for electrical technology. He scored a job this summer working with an electrical company. He has a short list of tools from his college that he needs to buy, and his boss said that list will also work for the things he will need to have to work with him. Son knows what he wants for a tool pouch from job shadowing and helping with other electricians, but surely all his tools won't fit in there. Do most people have a bag/backpack tool box with them also? Dont want him to look like a total newb, although he surely will and that's ok. This is a company that does residential and commercial projects--any recommendations for shoes would be great too, although he is going to ask his boss that.
