Hey everyone, I’m visiting LA for a week - end of May and I’ve always wanted to try scuba diving for the first time.

I’m a complete beginner with zero experience. What’s the best way to get started? Are there beginner-friendly one day courses or discovery dives around LA/SoCal?

How much do they usually cost?

Any dive school recos?

Would appreciate any tips, things to avoid, or what you wish you knew before your first dive. Thanks!
