I would consider myself a complete novice, and although I have my operators license, I moved countries soon after gaining it and unfortunately when this has happened I regrettably didn't get shown how to program my TYT fom the ham I purchased it from, or at least I've otherwise forgotten, I've hunted youtube to no avail, every video I've found glances over the connections and juat immediately skips to changing settings on the code plug etc. I've tried 3 different "TYT MD380" cables bought from different sources and tried paying for the software with a cable and the free download from the TYT website, still no matter what I do i cant even get this bloody radio and computer to actually talk and even just read the damn thing, I've tried different button combinations from various videos to put it into programming mode, flash mode etc etc. Still nothing, can someone please advise what the hell I need to do. I really want to get back on air, and I dont have the option of setting up the end fed for the HF, so my DMR handy is my only option to get started again.
