Hello. I (M28) am married to a Chinese citizen. I know I can’t work on my spousal visa, don’t judge me, but I tried to get some extra by teaching English privately or doing designs for a friend, but they pay me by Alipay sometimes.
I have been doing this for sometime and everything it’s okay, the thing is that I saw a story of someone who got caught teaching English on a student visa and got sent to jail and then deported.
I don’t have a degree, so I can’t have a work permit, I wanted to ask if there is a way for me to work legally here, I am afraid of being separate from my wife, at the same time, all my foreigner friends are doing the same and they have been living here for more than 10 years, so I don’t know what to think now.
