Hey everyone —
Issue #6 of my indie crime comic The Revenant is officially live.
This is the final issue of Volume 1, and honestly probably the most important issue I’ve worked on so far. Took me longer than expected to finish because of work and trying to push the quality higher instead of rushing it out.
The series is set in 2001 Chicago and follows Marcus Kane — a former military operative caught between a street war, corruption, and something much bigger happening behind the scenes.
Issue #6 brings a lot of the tension from the earlier issues to a head:
betrayals
police pressure
the city turning on Kane
and the consequences finally catching up
If anybody checks it out, I definitely recommend using the panel-to-panel viewing mode on GlobalComix. A lot of the pacing, framing, and cinematic transitions were designed with that format in mind.
If you’re new to the series, now’s probably the best time to jump in since the full first volume is available.
Appreciate everybody who’s supported the project so far or took the time to give feedback along the way

Hey everyone —
I’ve been working on an indie neo-noir crime series set in 2001 Chicago called The Revenant, and I’m about to drop Issue #6 (final issue of Volume 1).
This one took me about a month longer than expected — mostly balancing work and trying to level up the quality across the board. I didn’t want to rush it.
But I’m finally in the final edit stage, and I wanted to share the cover and give a heads-up:
👉 If you haven’t checked it out yet, now’s actually the perfect time to catch up on Issues #1–5 before this drops.
