Daemonology 101 is done... for now! What should I do next?

For anyone that's interested in reading lore:
Daemonology 101: Wraths
Daemonology 101: Prides
Daemonology 101: Envies
Daemonology 101: Sloths
Daemonology 101: Greeds
Daemonology 101: Gluttons
Daemonology 101: Lusts

Daemonology 101 is my attempt to record the well-known sentient Daemonic races that lives in the Daemonic Realms of the Everbright, a universe I have created. Daemonology follows the records of Humans taking notes of the Daemon race, their habits, traits and abilities.

Of course, Daemonology 101 is just for the Daemonic Realm. There's the Human Realm, similar to ours, but different in small ways. Beastkins, Demi-humans, Monsters (and by adjacent, Monster girls) exist!

So, while I'm trying to figure out what I should call the documentation of monsters (Monster Encylopedia or Tome of Monsters?), Humanoids (Daemons' Guide to the Human Realm or Humanology?) and Beastkins (Beastiary or Book of Beasts?), help me decide!

What race/species should be the next focus?

Daemonology 101: Lusts

"You know... you'd think the magazine would stop posting about this Succubus in Men's Magazine..." - A reader of Model's Time talking about Desire, not realizing he's a guy

Hailing from the Woods of Mourning of the Daemonic Realm are Daemons of Lusts, otherwise known as Lusts. Lusts are purple-skinned figure, usually with black or purple horns, bat-like wings on their shoulder or waist and a pointed tail. While Lusts may present themselves as one of the two genders, it is imperative to know that Lusts are both at the same time. It is up to the Daemon themselves to present who they are.

A innate ability shared among Lusts is 'Transfiguration', an ability to change one and other's physical body at their whims. Each Lusts' ability to transform differs via how they cause the transformation; one Lust may require them to carefully mold their subject, while another could just summon a ring to step through. The difficulty of transformation also dictates the accuracy and effect as well, with more difficult and time-consuming methods being more permanent and detailed.

The transformed individual does not copy over the traits or knowledge of the race they are copying. The transformee is simply only copying the physical appearance; keeping their physical strengths, regardless of whether the transformee is stronger/weaker than the subject.

Example: A human transformed into a Dragonborn via Lust's transformation cannot breathe fire or lift as much as a Dragonborn can, as they do not possess fire glands or the muscles of a Dragonborn.

Lusts are ambitious, and loves the attention of others on them. This is made easier by their otherworldly beauty, making them one of the most desired stars within Hollywood and Star programs.

In some hospitals, Lusts are often in charge of cosmetic and gender reaffirming surgeries, offering their services at half the cost of the normal human procedure with guaranteed safety, as Lusts can simply revert the mistakes they make.

Hospitals offering such services are so popular amongst humans, that hospitals require the patients to make reservations months, even years ahead of time, thanks to the extremely busy schedules and shortage of labor.

Notable Lusts:

Asmodius, Male Twin Sin of Lust - One of the two twins that held the Sin of Lusts, Asmodius is one of the most popular actor/singer within both the Human and Daemonic Realm. Beneath his glimmer and gleam, Asmodius serves the Arcane Tactical Defense Forces, often hiding amongst terrorists and broadcasting their hideouts for annihilation.

Before he was the popular super star, Asmodius was an intel dealer during the 1st and 2nd Daemonic War, traveling the world with his team of Lusts as a traveling theater.

During the Greed Rebellion, Asmodius ran a counter-intel against Mammon's forces, hiding rebel's sites while diverting the attention. Unfortunately, his beloved underlings weren't as skilled as he was. One by one, his members of the traveling theater was caught, until he was the very last one left.

After the 2nd Daemonic War, he vowed that such an incident will never happen to anyone again, so he works alone, throwing himself into danger with no support, so that nobody else could be reduced to a bargaining chip against him.

Never again, like last time.

Lilith, Female Twin Sin of Lust - One of the two twins that held the Sin of Lusts, Lilith gave up her title when she married Daemonlord Lucifier. During the first Daemonic War, Lucifer fell in combat, and Lilith, pregnant with a child, instead lead the forces of Daemons against humans.

Despite having nearly no experience commanding the armies of the Daemonlord, Lilith was doing a great job, at least until the Sin of Wrath, Satan, rebelled against her, believing that a woman shouldn't be leading the men in the frontlines.

His attempted coup was put down by her loyal subjects, but the damage was done; they have wasted enough time for Humans to create The First Hero, and were all but pushed back through the portals and shut in their own realms.

Satan was now tied up in the dungeon below the Daemonlord's castle.

Lilith took it better than any other Daemonlord would.

She entered the chambers herself, and used her ability on him, molded away his muscles, shrunk him until she towers over him, changed his gender, removed her title, and changed her name.

Satan died in the dungeon that day, and his daughter, Satana, the jester Daemon, was born.

Lilith later gave birth to Adimarchus, the last Daemonlord, and trained him to the best of her ability.

During the Greed Rebellion, Adimarchus was heavily wounded by Mammon, and with her child in too much of a critical condition to lead, Lilith took over as Daemonlord once more, this time leading the Daemons against the very man that injured her son.

By the end of the Greed Rebellion, Satana contributed most to the death of Mammon, and saved both realms by sacrificing her arm. As a reward, Lilith offered Satana her old position back, along with her old form. She refused, stating that she did not deserve forgiveness after her own clouded vision millennium ago.

Now, in 2049, Lilith rests in the Daemonlord's castle, as the mother of Adimarchus, soon to be Grandmother of the next generation of Daemonlords.

Desire - One of the biggest stars within Hollywood, thanks to her superb control over her own transformations. While she cannot affect others with her transformation magic, the control over her own transformation was almost as good as the Twin Sins. As such, she held many roles within many movies, sometimes even multiple roles in the same movie.

To the surprise of nobody, Desire was a transgender Lust, specifically a trans-fem. Many of her fans did not know, as she debuts as a female actor.

Daemonology 101: Gluttons

"OW OW OW OW OW OW!" - Someone that tried to pet Glutton's 'hair'

Hailing from the Glassed Desert of the Daemonic Realm is Daemons of Gluttony, otherwise known as 'Gluttons'. Gluttons are being made entirely out of fire, with the sole exception of their heart. Said fire on their body is adjustable by the Glutton, from being slightly warmer than room temperature, all the way to the heat of magma. While Gluttons may not have horns, hair or tail, some Glutton may choose to shape their fire in such a way to represent themselves.

Gluttons' innate ability is known as 'All-Consuming', an ability that allows Gluttons to use anything burnable as food source. This ability provides Gluttons with the energy necessary to keep working for days on end without sleep or rest, so long as they can consume something burnable.

Gluttons are also incredible workaholics, often working during their off-days, just for the fun of it. If you assign a task to a Glutton, they will make sure to see it end. It is not recommended to have Gluttons work near easily flammable objects, as they can accidentally set fire to it.

However, later researches show that while Gluttons can work for indefinite amount of time, the fuel efficiency gets lower and lower every day, along with their control over their own body heat until the Glutton's body uses more energy than they can consume, resulting in a literal burnout; the death of said Glutton.

The only way for them to regain their fuel efficiency is to rest.

However, resting requires Gluttons to lower their consciousness and retreat back into the hearts. The longer the rest, the cooler the heart becomes. At a certain threshold, the heart will be too cold to self-ignite, resulting in the Glutton going into Hibernation. Without another Glutton or heat to reawaken the Glutton, they may be frozen in hibernation until help can arrive. As such, Gluttons would be stuck in a predicament where they can't work, otherwise they would die, or they would die from sleep.

This is where one of the world's greatest symbiotic relationship comes into play, with Sloths.

Sloths are physically weak Daemonic race, that specializes in information, sleeps and dreams. A Sloth-influenced sleep can give the sleeper a full-day rest with a few minutes of shut eye.

They are the perfect partners for Gluttons.

The Gluttons cover the Sloths' daily needs during the day, while Sloths can provide Gluttons their nightly needs. It is a win-win situation on both side.

Gluttons enjoy culinary and service jobs, such as being a chef, a waiter, a bellhop and managers. Just be careful when shaking a Glutton's hand; they might burn you without realizing.

Notable Gluttons:

Beelza, Sin of Gluttony - Born during the 1st Daemonic War, Beelza watched her father, Beelzabub, sacrifice himself during one of the final skirmishes against humanity, consuming himself and armies of humanity.

When she was assigned the Sin of Gluttony, she didn't want to follow her father's footsteps of being a general. She wanted a good, long life, preferably with a partner, doing her favorite activity; cooking and serving.

So when Bella, Sin of Pride, recreated the portals that connects back into the Human Realm, Beelza obtained a forged ID as a fire ifrit, and for the first time in centuries, stepped foot back into the Human Realm.

She opened her first tavern in a small town of Honeywoods, 'Starving Hogs', using the funds given by Mammon, the former Sin of Greed, in exchange for using her tavern as a front for his intel-dealing business.

It was later renamed 'Slothful Hogs', after Beelza engaged and married Sin of Sloth, Belphagor, and expanded the business.

During the 2nd Daemonic War and Greed Rebellion, Beelza provided aid, comfort and security to those that visits her taverns, regardless of race and alignment.

After all, they were customers. It would be rude to turn them away.

In the present day, 2049, Beelza have moved away from her cooking and serving business, and is now the head of the rebranded "Sins' Paradise" with her wife, Belphagor. She often goes to one of her hotels to serve every once in a while, but spends most of her time being a housewife to the Sloth she married.

She doesn't mind, of course. After all, they've been happily married for over a millanium.

Daemonology 101: Greeds

Hailing from the many cities of the Daemonic Realms, Greeds are a purple-skinned solitary race, between the average height of 5-6ft tall, and possess large horns. They are most notable by the amount of jewellery and accessories worn on their bodies, horns and tail.

The strength of Greeds lies within their innate ability: 'Golden Sentience'. A Greed can make contact with gold to give it sentience, allowing them to reshape and control the gold. The purer the gold, the stronger the control. This sentient golden object lasts until either the Greeds stops their control or if it stops receiving miasma from the Greed controlling it.

However, Greeds are not trusted within both the Human Realm and the Daemonic Realm, thanks to two things; their personalities and their history.

Greeds are extremely opportunistic and self-serving, often putting themselves over others. They are willing to do anything to better themselves in the long run. This also makes them paradoxically trustworthy; if a Greed puts their trust in you, it's either because they believe you are their greatest chance at something, or they're attempting to trick you.

Secondly, they are hated thanks to an individual within their race; formerly known as Sin of Greed, both Humans and Daemons utter his name with utter disgust. It was thanks to him that to this day, in 2049, the seat for Sin of Greed remains empty.

Mammon, The Betrayer. (See Notable Greeds)

Many harsh precautions were placed to keep Greeds from obtaining the same amount of power ever again. It was for the prevention of another Sin of Greed from rising.

While Greeds are allowed to run businesses and have corporations, they are not allowed to deal in stocks, own more than 1 necessary house or have a monopoly. Any accessories worn by Greeds MUST be made of silver, with no gold additives in it.

Unlike other Daemonic races, Greeds do not like each other. If two or more Greeds are in the same group or organization, they will compete against each other to the benefits and the detriments of the folks around them. Benefits, because they would try to prove themselves, but detriments, because of fowl play.

Notable Greeds

Mammon, The Betrayer - Formerly the Sin of Greed, Mammon is the oldest Sin among the 7 Deadly Sins before his betrayal, who served Lucifer the First Daemonlord and his wife Lilith during the First Daemonic War and Adimarchus the Last Daemonlord during the 2nd Daemonic War.

After the first Daemonic War ended in total loss for Daemons, Mammon was the second Daemon to made it back to the Human Realm, where he started a merchant network across the world, where he acted as the info broker for anyone with money. He funded Beelza and Belphagor's taverns, as one of his fronts, and directly competed against Asmodius' "Devil's Playbook", intel-gathering Lusts disguised as a traveling theater.

By the start of the 2nd Daemonic War, Mammon held the Humans' economy in his claws, one which he collapsed and blamed on the Daemons, jump-starting the 2nd Daemonic War.

Back then, the tension and relationship between Humans and Daemons were high; a single spark was more than enough for humans to ramp up the already fascist and fanatic Order's Inquisition (now known as the 'Sigmarites') to hunt down even more Daemons in hiding.

Using his status as a non-combatant, Mammon stayed out of the 2nd Daemonic War until at the very end, where both Humans and Daemons exhausted their supplies. He then wounded Adimarchus, and took the throne as the newly appointed Daemonlord. As soon as he does, he appointed his most loyal Daemons to subjugating anyone that went against his ideal, didn't matter if they were Humans or Daemons.

This event was known to both realms as the 'Greed Rebellion', where many lives suffered and lost thanks to an ambition of a Greed.

Lead by King Arthur, Daemonlord Lilith, Slime-Mage Sarah and Warchief Lorong, Humans, Daemons, Monsterkind and Beastkins fought tooth and nail against Mammon's forces.

It was a short but costly war, as both Realms almost plunged to ruination.

The Greed Rebellion finally ended with Mammon's death, in his ivory castle within the Daemonic Realm, slain by Sin of Wrath, Satana.

Just as he was dying, he activated the prototype Rift Maker stolen from the Bella's lab, in attempt to take both realms down with him, which failed, thanks to Satana sacrificing a limb to break the machine.

The Rift still exist to this day in 2049, now repurposed as a transit city between the Human and Daemonic Realm. It is also the main Headquarter for Sin of Pride's R&D, where many brilliant minds hope to be hired at.

Daemonology 101: Wraths

"Now, just got to wait for some customer- speaking of the devil!" - Rage room owner, as a crowd of Wraths entered his establishment

Hailing from the Echo Valleys of the the Daemonic Realm, Wraths are red-skinned imposing figures, standing at the average heights of 7-8ft tall. Unlike other Daemons, Wraths do not possess any wings, tails or horns, and are the closest to the human-looking figures within the Daemonic Realms, barring their red skins, height and their lack of subtlety.

The main ability of Wrath is their blood, specifically 'Ichor', a dark viscous liquid that is several times denser than human blood, which scientists believe results in their iconic skin color. This Ichor causes heavy clotting when a Wrath wounded, allowing Wraths to quickly heal from wounds that would often take weeks or months to recover. This Ichor also recovers them from muscle fatigue just as quickly, allowing Wraths to train much longer than any other human races.

While female members of Wraths seem thinner and smaller, do not assume them as weaker than their male counterpart. Female Wraths' muscles are denser than their male counterpart, resulting in them being just as strong as capable, while maintaining flexibility.

Due to their history as barbarians clans uplifted by other Daemons, Wraths are incredibly loyal, value comradeship and strength. If you can best a Wrath in a game of strength, you gain their friendship and respect for life. However, do be careful when challenging a Wrath; winning means other Wraths will attempt to gain your respect by games of strength, which could spiral out of control. (See Section-A42: Pool Noodle Incident)

Many of the Wraths are incapable of trickery or deceit; their expressive faces make them incredibly easy to read, and they have obvious tells when they are lying. Complicated wordplay and trickery can quickly anger a Wrath if they can't figure out what it means. We are not saying Wraths are dumb; it is simply against their nature.

If a Wrath ever said they want to punch you in the face, it is not a threat, it is a promise that will be fulfilled, one way or the other.

Many Wraths are often hired in both the Human Realm and Daemonic Realm as bodyguards, trainers, fitness instructors, or any physically demanding jobs. It is not to say that Wraths do not enjoy menial tasks, like accounting, though it is imperative for cooperation to have a monthly visit to the rage rooms with Wraths coworkers, as it not only relaxes them, but also gives them a chance to find comradeship between Wraths and their coworkers.

Notable Wraths:

Satana, Sin of Wrath - Formerly known as Satan, Satana used to be the proud general of the Wrath division in the Daemon army. During the first Daemonic War, Satan didn't like that he was being lead by a female Lust Daemonlord, Lilith, and attempted to rebel against her, resulting in the Humans' successful creation of The First Hero and subsequently the collapse on his front, resulting in the Humans pushing the Daemons all the way back to the Daemonic Realms before sealing the portals.

As a punishment, Lilith, acting Daemonlord during the 1st Daemonic War, subjugated Satan to her transformation magic, forcefully transforming him into a cat girl jester to be humiliated for millennium to come.

Sufficed to say, Satana learned her lesson in humility.

During the Greed Rebellion, Satana had the final confrontation with Mammon, Sin of Greed, after he attempted to take over both realms after instigating the 2nd Daemonic War. Realizing his failure, he used a prototype Rift Maker stolen from Bella's lab and attempted to destroy both realms. Satana used all that's left of her strength to push Mammon onto the Rift Maker and break it.

The resulting explosion not only tore a rift between Human and Daemon Realm, but also resulted in total obliteration of Mammon and Satana's left arm.

(The rift was later used to make the Split-City, a transit city between Human and Daemon Realm)

In 2049, Satana is the head of ATDF in the Daemonic Realm, running peacekeeping duties while opposing 'Mammon's Greed' and 'Sigmarites', two of the terrorist organizations.

Aegis and Gladius - Aegis and Gladius were un-named children of Wrath, who fell into bad crowds in their early days. Their strength and coordination were unmatched for many of the gangs within the ghettos of the Human Realm. They were the best bodyguards that black market could buy.

At least, it was until they came face-to-face with Satana, who was on a mission to bust the gang's operation.

Combat ensues, and despite being outnumbered, Satana won, thanks to the countless centuries worth of experience. Regardless, Satana was impressed by the twins' combat capability, despite only being a fraction of her age.

So, she took them in, and trained them into her Vanguards.

Decades has passed since then, with both Aegis and Gladius receiving many scars in their service, along with their own fanbase and subordinates.

However, their true loyalty only lies within Satana, the only living being that have bested the two of them in combat at the same time.

Daemonology 101: Envies

"Dude, there's no f%(#ing way you were this guy!" - A human to a female-presenting Envy, upon seeing a photo of her younger self

Hailing from the Volatile Tundra within the Daemonic Realms, Daemons of Envy, otherwise known as "Envies" are neon-blue skinned Daemons, with dark colored horns. These are the only physical features that are consistent between Envies, thanks to their innate ability: Adaptation.

On birth, Envies start without any physical characteristics, a grey humanoid baby. As they would age, they would slowly gain their gender, iconic blue skin color, and sometimes grow horns.

Envies take on traits of their environment as they grow, continuously evolving to fit into their society. Unlike the transformative abilities of Lusts, Envies truly copy all characteristics of their peers, including their resistance and race abilities.

For example, An Envy that grew up with Dragonborns would develop scales and wings, along with the fuel sac within their body, allowing them to breathe fire and be resistant to said fire.

To ensure survival, Envies' body can subconsciously trigger this effect in extreme danger as well, such as falling into the water or fire, such as growing gills, or coating the body in stone-like growth.

Just as Envies can evolve certain traits, they can devolve traits as well. An Envy that has spent their childhood in a Beastkin town before moving to a human city may take on a bestial appearance initially, but slowly devolve the bestial traits as they take on regular human traits, only leaving behind small remnants, like bestial ears or a tail.

Once an Envy reaches maturity, their bodies no longer attempt to adapt to the surrounding, locking in their appearance and race abilities. At this point, this is what an Envy will naturally look like for the rest of their lives.

Many Envies have attempted to override this limit, but it has only been done once in recorded history, and even the Sin of Envy, Leviathan, couldn't replicate it.

Their innate ability of Adaptation, at this point, changes from exterior to interior.

It is incredibly difficult for Envies to be sick, and their blood have extremely strong anti-bodies and changes to the blood type of the receiver, making them ideal blood donors.

Incidentally, they are also one of the few Daemonic races that are capable of surviving in a mana atmosphere instead of miasma, making them a race of Daemons that can freely travel between the Daemonic Realm and Human Realm without posing a threat to either realm.

This adaptability also poses a threat to themselves. It paints a large target on any Envies for criminals, as Envy blood is extremely precious within the black markets, especially in the Outskirts, where hospitals and treatment are incredibly rare.

Notable Envy in history:

Leviathan, Sin of Envy - Born as an Envy thanks to the recessive genes from human parents before the 1st Daemonic War, Leviathan was thrown into the ocean in hopes that she died before she could suffer from zealous folks. Leviathan landed in a coral patch, where she lost her eye to one of the many sharp corals. However, instead of drowning, Levi's adaptation grew gills for her to breathe in the ocean water, and her eye was permanently replaced by a patch of corals.

She was later adopted by Sirens, where her legs fused together to form a powerful tail, similar to her sisters of the sea. While she wasn't good at hunting or savaging, she was able to teach herself magic through the various books and artifacts they have salvaged from ships that crashed into rock faces.

It wasn't stealing; those sailors got distracted her sisters' songs, so she's just making use of what's left.

By her maturity, her siren coven was already known as one of the many oceanic terrors, as their songs, amplified by Levi's magic, could reach far past their intended range, enchanting unsuspecting sailors.

In 2049, Leviathan is now the head of Magical Research in the Human Realm, situated at the Citadel. As an aquatic Envy, Levi couldn't travel on land, so she uses her magic to form tubes of water to travel around, much to the dismay of the janitors and anyone standing below her.

The Nameless Princess - A tale from before the 2nd Daemonic War. It hints that the princess was an Envy.

"Once upon a time, there was a Princess, whose name was lost to history. She was born a Demon, with blue skin, black horns and the golden eyes, brighter than any treasure."

"The King, her father, choose to hide his shame, ordering the construction of a tower away from prying eyes of the kingdom, leaving her there to live the rest of her life. He left nothing but a year-worth of food for her."

"But she adapted; she grew her own food using the grain, make her own bed, spoke to animals and created her own well. She had everything she wanted but companions."

"Some days, she dreamt of flying, like the birds that visits her for their morning grain."

"One day, a wounded Prince would arrive at the steps of her tower, his war horse stumbling as the sharpnel of a lance tore through its stomach. On seeing the blue skin and horns, he initially pointed his sword at her, threatening her with his bated breathe not to come closer before collapsing off his war horse."

"The Princess did not heed his warning, and instead took him inside the tower. She hasn't had a company for who knows how long. So, she dragged the man in, and bandaged him up with herbs she grew in her garden."

"The man healed from an otherwise serious wound, and he soon came to love the Daemon he threatened months ago. On the day he left, he promised that he would come back to her, once the war is over."

"Thanks to the medical care of the Princess, the Prince's arrival renewed the vigor of his army, and demoralized his opponents, and it was a short campaign afterwards."

"But instead of following the Knights back to his kingdom for celebration, he excused himself, and traveled back to the dark forest for one thing and one thing only; to bring the Princess back to his kingdom. Where they happily married."

"The happiness did not last long, for the scandal of a renounced war-hero marrying a Daemon was more than enough for the commoners to rebel. The Prince tried to make up for it, spoke to the citizens, to show that the Princess wasn't the monster that they deemed her to be."

"It took one arrow."

"One arrow, to kill the Prince."

"As the guards lose control of the crowd, the Princess wept as she clutches the dying Prince in her arms. She looked at the Crest on his tunic."

"A black dragon, one claw holding a sword. The other; a heart."

"If they so want a monster, she will be that monster."

"So, she changed; her body grew larger and larger, scales grow all over as she rips out from the beautiful dress that the Prince choose for her. Her face stretches into a snout, blue flames barely contained in her maws. As the crowd, who once jeered at her beloved now cowered in fear, as the guards, that once tried to held off the masses, turn their weapons on her."

"And so, the Nameless Princess was no more; where she stood was a monster that brought ruin upon the entire kingdom."

" So beware, child. Show no sympathy for Demons, as their claws run red with human blood. Let us not be tricked, for it is only one of many tools by a demon."

(Levi's note: While this may be a fairy tale used by the Inquisition during the Dark Ages to condition children into hating Daemons, there is evidence of a kingdom being destroyed by a blue dragon. Personally, this could be just a cobalt dragon, but I'm not putting away the chance that this might be the only recorded case of Adaptation triggering past maturity)

Daemonology 101: Sloths

"If you see a blue-skinned Daemon that appears to be sleepwalking, try not to wake them up. They're working." - Note left by a company manager to new employees

Hailing from the quiet Dreaming Circle within the Daemonic Realm, Daemons of Sloth, otherwise called 'Sloths', are the blue-skinned daemons, usually around 3-4 ft tall, weighting almost nothing at all, and are extremely frail. They possess an innate ability to summon cloud-like constructs, which is described by Sloth daemons as 'best bed ever, no other bed is better than that'.

Sloths are in a constant state of lucid dream, often sleepwalking, and are physically incapable of hard labor; their bodies are too fragile and sluggish to do so, and often requires other work forces from other races for their towns and cities. More often than not, Sloths often hire caretakers to take care of their physical needs.

However, where Sloths fail at physical prowess, they succeed in another field; the Dream Palace.

ALL sloth daemons are directly connected to the Dream Palace from birth, which is only accessible via dreams. It doesn't matter where the Sloth is, if they're sleeping, they are directed towards the Dream Palace, where they are able to interact with other Sloths and sleeping individuals.

Within the Dream Palace, time is perceived much slower, which allows the Sloths to do their jobs much quicker than humanly possible.

Sloths are able to provide two types of services; dreams and information.

Dream services are self-explanatory; a Sloth is capable of pulling other individuals nearby into the Dream Palace by inducing sleep in them. Whilst in the Dream Palace, Sloths can reshape the individuals' dream just like how they want it, giving them a well-rested feeling, even if the person was only asleep for a few minutes.

Information is a bit more complex. Because of the time dilation, Sloths are able to exchange information from one realm to the other, and capable of storing information in Dream Library, an infinitely large library of all information collected by Sloths. Sloths can bring individuals to the Dream Library as well, but only the Sloths know where the location of information is.

Want to read about the '1st Daemonic War and Satan's Punishment'?

6th Row, 8th Column, 492th Slice, that's where it is, next to 'Salami Recipe' and 'Dungeon & Dragons: 5th Edition Rulebook'.

It is due to this ease of information that Sloth students must take caffeine tablets before and during exams, to prevent them from cheating via the Dream Palace and Dream Library. As such, make sure to treat your Sloth friend to a good hot cocoa after the exams; they're going to need it.

Some of the notable Sloths:

Belphagor, Sin of Sloth - Existed since before the 1st Daemonic War, only became Sin of Sloth due to necessity. Have a joint partnership with Beelza to run the 'Hungry Sloths' taverns during 1000s, now runs the 'Glutton's Hotel' chain in 2049.

Nathan, Dream Consultation - A very famous and renounced sleep consultant, well-known in the Human Realm as the 'Sleep Guru'. Those who can pay him for consultation shows VAST improvement in their restfulness.

One of the designs for one of the Lusts, thoughts?

In Everbright, Lusts are just one of the 7 Daemon races, originated from the Daemonic Realms, including with Wraths, Envies, Greeds, Sloths, Gluttons, Prides.

Whilst naturally beautiful, Lusts aren't the usual type of Daemons we associate with Lusts. It's more of a Lust for ambition and attention, so most Lusts are pretty successful movie stars. This one is one of the more famous movie stars within the Human Realm.

(She doesn't have a name yet, so any name suggestions?)

[Transmission Received: Urgent]

WARNING: This is a fictional story! Nothing is to be taken seriously! Any names in the story is inspired by some IRL events!

ATDF: Arcane Tactical Defense Forces, a UN appointed task forces that spans the entire realm + the Daemonic Realm. ATDF consists of many specialized task force, such as Riot control, Stronghold breechers, and Werewolf control, to name a few. Beholder's Eye is the dispatchers of the Operatives.

Wildsiders: A civilian militia group made out of minorities, such as Beastkins, Daemons, Tieflings, Monsterkind, etc. as a protective measure against oppression. Unfortunately, Wildsiders suffer from having too many goals to achieve in one organization, often resulting in head-on conflict against law enforcement.

Sigmarites: A branch of the Order, which split after the signing of 'Monsters' Rights Act' in 1648. Initially a branch that focused on protection of humanity against non-human threats. However, with the Old Guards gone, it is now run by human supremacists, condemned by The Order. In 2049, they poses a threat to the 1000-year truce, the one that they were meant to protect.

In our world, the end of the Ice Age resulted in the extinction of many animals, such as wooly mammoths, giant ground sloths and Sabertooth tigers. Such is the reason why we're fascinated with these by-gone creatures.

In Everbright, they had a different fate. Sure, the Mammoths and sloths are gone, but the stories of the Sabertooth lives on.

Living in tribes of up to 50 individuals, Sabertooth Tigerkins are large, imposing and nomadic race of Beastkins that lives off the land. Often lead by a Matriarch, with a Patriarchal Druid, these Beastkins are carnivorous hunters, can be talked to and traded with, and often stays out of people's way unless provoked.

During the Ice Age, Sabertooth clans held the most dominating power as Beastkins most adapted to the cold weather, one of the competing subrace of Beastkin against humans. Their numbers rivaled the human tribes and clans.

As we know, Ice Age came to an end, and with it, their steadfast grasp of power. Their pelt and fur made it extremely difficult for them to survive the oncoming heatwaves. Slowly, but surely, their numbers begin to dwindle, as a result of starvation, competition and being hunted.

Eventually, their druids found a solution to their heat problem; the mana can be utilized through druidic enchantments to cool them down, resulting in their survival at a minimal numbers. Large gemstones are carved with druidic incantations, carried by the head druid of the pack, ensuring their bodies remain cool.

Nowadays, in 2049, the number dwindles even more. With the advancement in technology, the nomadic tribes moved further and further away from the cities, their enchantments barely able to keep them cool from the escalating climate change.

So, if you see a tribe of migrating Sabertooth Beastkins, be sure to pay respect to them; you may not see them for long.

I wanted to see if I could convey different emotions with different faces!

Give me some thoughts on Chad/Cassie and Theodora!

Belle was always different from the rest of the Prides near her. She was quiet, intelligent and kept to herself, as opposite to the dare-devilish nature that Prides are known for. Even as she spends her time, content with being buried in books, she needed something to feel approval through.

A1Z0 was that answer. Created at the age of 8, A1Z0 was initially a scrap teddy made only to listen to Belle's day-to-day life, only having a memory chip to act as a brain and a speaker.

But as her intelligence grew, so did A1Z0, with more and more functionalities added to it. First, it gained eyes to see the world. Then arms, then legs. Then a sentimental chip, then sentimental repression chip.

A1Z0 was with Belle, even as she became a Sin of Pride and the head of Daemonic R&D. It gained armor plates for protection, extended batteries, stronger motors for its limbs until it was too big to fit through normal doorways.

At some point, Belle's plans revealed that she was going to kept building its body until it was the size of a building.

At least, that was the plan, until the Greed Rebellion started in the mist of the 2nd Daemonic War.

In attempt to prevent Mammon from stealing prototype Rift-rippers, Belle and A1Z0 attempted to blow up the research lab. This attempt was successful, with massive loss; Belle lost her right hand, and A1Z0 was completely blown up, all its body parts were scattered in the remnants of the R&D department.

Following the end of the 2nd Daemonic War, Belle used as much of her authority as head of R&D in the ranks of the Daemonic army to quarantine the old lab. Not a single living soul is to enter the zone, and anyone caught became lab rats for the new R&D department located elsewhere.

She have all the time in the world. She was a Daemon after all. What would centuries mean to her, besides the advancement in technology?

Centuries later, drones patrolling the ruins of the old R&D department reported a finding: A1Z0's memory chip was found, damaged, but just good enough to extract memories into a new body.

Nobody could tell, but Belle was overjoyed at the prospect of seeing A1Z0 again.

This time, she wouldn't be afraid to spend a year's worth of R&D funds on A1Z0, even if it incurs the wrath of the Daemonlord.

When A1Z0 wakes up from her century long rest, she was in a new body, one that was far more flexible and mobile than her old clunky robotic shell. Her skin was bulletproof, and her processor could process data so fast that time seems to move at a slower pace, and her body was fast enough to follow her thoughts.

She even got a new name from her creator: Aizo, the Sin's Pride.

She wasn't fully all there; getting blown up seem to have made Aizo slightly more dramatic than before, along with giving her more emotions, just like a living being. Besides, she had holes in her memories, unrecoverable memories and directives.

Even though Belle gave Aizo complete freedom to do whatever she wants, Aizo stuck around, protecting Belle and the scientists under her wing with experimental weapons, all provided by the Daemonic R&D department.

Perhaps they were merely using her as a genea pig, but Aizo could care less.

She's fine, so long as she can protect Belle.

Year 1356, Casandra was born wrong; she used to go by a name and body that's too masculine for her taste, and a voice deeper than the ocean trenches.

Casandra was a woman, stuck in a man's body.

Medical advancement for trans folks were still VERY early on, and early HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) were too rare and too expensive for a oyster diver to payoff in a lifetime.

So, Casandra did the only thing that she could.

Summoned and offered herself as tribute to Davy Jones, forever damning her soul and body to his servitude in exchange for a right body for herself.

OK, maybe that was a lil' bit more extreme than most people are willing to go for.

Not for Casandra.

Now, in 2049, Casandra's name and her crew of Oceanic Beastkins, 'Davy's Bride' are well-known across the globe as a powerhouse within Atlantic Ocean, commanding waves of Krakens to attack ships that 'illegally' passed by her territory.

All you need to 'legalize' your travel through her territory is to pay up a small tribute.

Legend says that if you wait at the coral-reefs at night, Casandra will appear next to you. She will offer to give you what you want; wealth, fame, family... the right body, if you choose to join her in Davy's Bride. It wouldn't be permanent, like hers to Davy Jone's.

The real question is, are you willing to follow through?
