Title: I’m Building a Fruit Box Business — How Would You Get Your First 50 Customers?

I’m 17 years old, a professional video editor, and I’ve started my own fruit box business called Fujin in Gwalior, India.

I sell fresh fruit boxes for ₹50 and am exploring monthly subscriptions. My main challenge right now is getting consistent customers without spending much money on advertising.

I have video editing and content creation skills, so I can make promotional reels myself. I’m also considering approaching local gyms, offices, hospitals, and residential communities.

I want to focus on getting my first 50 regular customers before investing heavily in marketing.

I’d appreciate advice on three things:

  1. If you were starting from zero, which customer acquisition method would you test first?
  2. How would you approach gyms or local businesses to build partnerships?
  3. What would you do to get the first 10 paying customers on a very small budget?

I’m looking for practical strategies from people who have built businesses, especially local food or subscription-based businesses. Thanks!
