confusion about low fermantation diet
hey everyone
Short exp.: I have been sick for 3 years after a food poisoning. doctors say they cant find anything and have no suggestions.
I have tried Low foodmap(IBS), Glutenfree, Fructose free and they didnt work. I have been mostly aiming towards GERD (acid reflux reducing diet) as my guideline - however I am not well and struggle daily. stomach doesnt work at all, I react, bloated and feel sick all the time - and have constant pain (needle, heat flares anthritis etc) in my lower body.
I have come across SIBO, which I am fairly certain they have not tested me for, and I have like all the symptoms.
I would like to try out the low-fermantation diet, just to see if I could do anything idk...
basically my question is: which low fermantation diet (to help reduce symptoms of SIBO) is the one?
like I look at so many different sources from SIBO info websites, to medical sites, and everyone has different foods linked to the same diet..
I mean, one thing is if certain food doesnt work/trigger someone (its all individual and vague I guess), but shouldnt science be able to conclude weather or not something is low fermantation or not?? Why are certain food safe in one study/list, then considered the worst trigger in another one.
I hope this makes sense.
