CRM workflow falling apart when multiple departments get involved

I have found that our Workflow CRM functions more or less smoothly for one department, but as more organization departments integrate it, it becomes more challenging to administer. Sales, HR, customer service, and operations all require various routing principles, custom fields, notifications, and reporting. Each request for a change raises doubts about whether we will disrupt another team’s workflow, leading to delays in processing the updates.

The main problem is neither the technology nor the inability to meet various departments’ requirements but the unwillingness to use a standardized solution. Since the majority of time is being spent on maintaining the workflows, IT department representatives are asking whether the existing infrastructure is really scalable.

Are weekends when your chargebacks spike too?

We have begun to monitor the times at which chargebacks are posted. Some days seem to be more active than others, and I wonder if that is a factor in our staffing, response speed, or even customer behavior, which makes me question if we were giving sufficient weight to these factors. Before acting based on limited evidence, I want to hear from the community on this subject. Has any other member studied chargebacks in relation to any day of the week or time of the year and found anything surprising enough to change the way support or operations team works?
