Hi everyone! 👋

I’m preparing for the PRINCE2 Project Management Practitioner (Version 7) exam and wanted to ask those who have taken it recently:

Where did you buy your exam voucher? Did you purchase it directly from PeopleCert, or through a training provider/reseller?

If you bought it through a provider, could you share which provider and your experience with them?

I’m especially interested in knowing whether the voucher included access to the official PRINCE2 7 eBook and whether there were any issues with the exam or booking process.

Thanks in advance! 😊

Hi everyone!

I recently completed my CAPM certification and now I’m planning to prepare for the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam.

I’m looking for some advice on how to prepare for it. I’d really appreciate it if anyone who has recently passed could share their experience.

A few things I wanted to ask:

• How did you prepare for the Practitioner exam?
• Did you take any course/training, or did you self-study?
• Are there any good online courses you would recommend?
• What study materials did you use apart from the official book?
• How important are mock exams/practice questions?
• How did you use the book during the exam?
• Did you use tabs/bookmarks in the book? If so, what sections did you mark?
• How long did you study before taking the exam?
• Are there any particular topics I should focus on?
• Any tips for understanding and answering the long scenario-based questions?
• Are there any free resources or practice exams you would recommend?

Since I’ve just finished CAPM, I’m hoping to build on what I’ve learned rather than start completely from scratch.

Would really appreciate any advice, especially from people who have recently passed PRINCE2 Practitioner. Thanks! 😊

Hi everyone! I passed my CAPM exam yesterday — AT in all 4 domains! 🎉🥹

I wanted to share my CAPM experience because reading other people's experiences on Reddit helped me a lot during my preparation. Hopefully this can help someone else who is currently preparing. ❤️

Result: PASSED — Above Target in ALL 4 domains! 🎉

• Fundamentals — AT, Predictive — AT, Agile — AT, Business Analysis — AT

I honestly still can't believe it.
My preparation:

I studied while working, so my preparation wasn't perfect or consistent every single day.

Resources I used:

• Joseph Phillips CAPM course
• Pocket Prep
• Peter Landini CAPM book/question bank
• PMI CAPM Study Hall
• Udemy practice questions
• Andrew Ramdayal 50 CAPM YouTube video
• Yassine YouTube 150-question YouTube video

I didn't use every resource equally. I mainly used them for different purposes: learning concepts, practicing questions, and getting used to different ways questions could be worded.

My practice scores:

I want to share these because my scores were not consistently high, and I think this may help anyone who is stressing about their practice results.

Peter Landini - Average: 77.4%

I also completed several full-length mocks:

• PMI Study Hall full mock: 86%
• Agilemania :78%
• Udemy 150-question mock: 109/150 — 72.7%

I also did smaller practice sets through Pocket Prep, Andrew Ramdayal, Yassine, etc.

Despite having some practice scores in the low/mid 70s, I passed the actual exam AT in all four domains.

So my biggest advice is: don't use one practice-test score as a prediction of your actual result. Look at your mistakes, understand the concepts, and pay attention to why an answer is correct.

The actual exam:

Honestly...

The exam felt HARD to me.

The biggest difficulty wasn't necessarily that every question was about an unknown concept. It was that some questions were difficult to understand in the first place.

I kept reading questions and thinking: "What exactly are they asking me?"

There were some scenario-based questions where I had to slow down and figure out what the question was actually testing.

At one point during the exam, I genuinely thought: **"I'm going to fail."**😂

The exam had 150 questions, and by the end I had flagged around 70 questions.

Yes, around 70. 😭

I reached question 150 and I was so mentally exhausted that I didn't even go back to review the flagged questions. I just clicked submit.
Then...

THE RESULT SCREEN:

The screen showed:

CONGRATULATIONS

I honestly didn't believe it.

Then I received the printed result report at the test center.

And it showed: AT in all four domains.

I literally couldn't believe it. 😭❤️

What I learned:

1. Don't judge your performance by how confident you feel during the exam.
2. Learn how to THINK through scenarios.
3. Don't panic when you see unfamiliar wording.
4. Review your wrong answers instead of only chasing more questions.
5. Don't let a difficult practice bank destroy your confidence.

❤️ Final advice:

If you're preparing for CAPM right now and you're getting questions wrong, please don't automatically assume you're going to fail.

I had multiple moments during preparation where I thought I wasn't ready.

And during the actual exam, I thought I was failing.

Then I got:

AT | AT | AT | AT 🥹🏆

So prepare seriously, review your mistakes, understand the concepts, practice scenarios, and most importantly, don't let anxiety become your score predictor.

Good luck to everyone preparing! You've got this. ❤️

Happy to answer questions about my preparation/resources/exam experience if it helps
