i just failed a class (CIVL 231) because i didnt pass the final. the average was 55% and we need 40% to pass. the final was rly hard and required equations that this class didnt explicitly go over. according to the professor 82% people passed which means that 18% people failed the course.

is this normal? i heard this class was okay from past years but its honestly been a nightmare all semester. i was doing alright before but i got a 37% on that final and i just feel bad

i emailed the prof but im honestly at a loss of what to do.
