Building a Few Websites Free for Portfolio + Testimonials (Pet Niche preferred)
Hey r/singaporestartups,
I’m Eric — a freelance web developer based in Singapore. I mainly work within the pet niche (I’m also building a pet directory platform myself), but I’m open to helping startups from other industries too.
I’m looking to take on 2–3 startups/businesses here and build websites for free to expand my portfolio with more real-world projects.
A few things upfront:
- Domain are not included (you’ll need to cover those)
- Hosting (i mainly deploy to netlify / vercel which are usually free depending on traffic)
- In exchange, I’d appreciate a testimonial and permission to feature the project in my portfolio/socials
- I’ll prioritise startups that are already operating, launching soon, or actively building — not just idea-stage concepts
What I can help with:
- Landing pages
- Business/company websites
- Custom web design + development
- Basic automation/workflow integrations if needed
My style leans toward clean, modern, conversion-focused websites rather than generic templates. Usually I’ll first create a mockup/prototype so you can see the direction before committing to domain/hosting setup.
If you’re in the pet space, I’d also be open to discussing longer-term collaborations or partnerships beyond just the website itself.
