Non-invasive/clumping bamboo questions & also looking for other large privacy plant recommendations in FL

(I am located in Florida)

I have a huge birds of paradise hybrid mix of travelers palms and a few others plants mixed in (it was there already when I bought my house) I love how it looks and how much privacy it’s provided me over the years (blocks people from seeing if my car is parked in the driveway or not) it’s about 10-12ft tall and 6ft across but recently I’ve been told it has “root rot” and it needs to be removed.

I do not want to remove the BOP so I decided to heavily prune it tomorrow but If it eventually comes down to removing the BOP I’m having a hard time finding something similar to plant in its place that would provide me with the same amount of privacy and won’t cost a fortune.
Any suggestions?

My idea was if it comes down to having no choice but to remove the BOP I thought of planting some non-invasive/clumping bamboo such as Wamin Bamboo in place of the BOP. But the issue is I remember being told bamboo grows out of control quickly and that a containment structure is needed in order to keep it contained to one area.
My questions are:

  1. Is planting bamboo with a containment structure guaranteed to keep it confined to one area?
  2. Are containment structures expensive?
  3. . Do any companies in Florida (near Volusia County) specialize in making custom containment structures?

I’m going to include pictures of the current “dying” BOP and where it’s located on my property and if anyone could tell me if they think properly contained bamboo would be a good idea or if anyone has any better suggestions for a new privacy plant, I’m 100% open to suggestions.

I’m going for a tropical, leafy vibe if replacing my BOP with bamboo isn’t an option!

(Sorry for my lack of knowledge on the subject, I’m here to learn)

Thanks for reading!

Non-invasive/clumping bamboo. What’s the planting process? Also looking for other large privacy plant recommendations

(Located in Florida)
I have a huge hybrid mix of travelers palms, birds of paradise and a few others plants mixed in (it was there already when I bought my house) I love how it looks and how much privacy it’s provided me over the years (blocks people from seeing if my car is parked in the driver’s or not) it’s about 10-12 feet tall and 6ft across but recently it’s started to get root rot and needs to be removed. I’m really having a hard time finding something similar to plant in its place that would provide me with the same amount of privacy that won’t cost me and arm and a leg, or something fast growing that would create the same amount of privacy within a year.
I recently had the idea of planting some non-invasive/clumping bamboo such as** **Wamin Bamboo…but I remember being told that a containment metal “pan” need to be put under the soil in order to contain potential over growth? If anyone could confirm or deny that it would be helpful because it sounds expensive.
I’m going to include pictures of the current dying mixture of palms I have (that needs to be removed as I mentioned earlier) and where it’s located on my property
1st pic is a street view
2nd pic is of it is from half way down my driveway/solo pic to show the plot of land I’ll be working with
3rd pic is to see how big it is to block street view of where I park my car
If anyone could also tell me if they think bamboo would even be possible or a good idea for that cemented in plot of land OR if anyone has any better suggestions, I’m 100% open to hearing them!
I going for a tropical, leafy vibe if bamboo isn’t an option!
