Pounds of wheat pennies?

I have a guy that has 20+ pounds of wheat pennies separated into 1910s,1920s and so on. I’m looking to buy the whole lot. What do you think would be a good price point per pound? I know the earlier the more value and there are key dates (he owned a coin shop). Let me know what you think and your suggestions!
