Idk why, but I have this odd theory that John won’t go into a coma like everyone is saying, but instead somewhere near the halfway point of the show, he’ll get captured and tortured by the aliens residing in the town, who are mind controlling the police. Forcing Hal to go back to working solo on the case and looking for John. But something happens which causes Hal to go missing, and when Guy catches wind of it he ends up finding John beaten and bruised. Leading him to free John and the both of them go on a mission to find Hal and complete John’s training
