For those of you who came to Prague on a student visa, can you please explain to me how the ČZU dorm system works for visa seekers?

I studied at Charles so I’m asking for my brother. At Charles, the dorm contract is sent to you by post alongside the confirmation of studies. You don’t do anything extra. Apparently, that’s not the case for ČZU.

My brother will be applying for a visa and he obviously needs an accommodation contract to show at the embassy, but absolutely nobody that I’ve called has bothered explaining to me how he’s supposed to get this document. I have gotten mixed responses (some say it’s only given after visa approval and some say it’s given prior).

Please, if you’ve done this before let me know how!
