Mechanical vs computer engineering
I finished my first year as a computer engineer major, but after doing some research on mechanical I’m a little more drawn to it. For computer I would say the coding+hardware duality, and high salary is what interests me but the only con is it seems like a saturated and competitive major to find a job. With mech I’m interested in going in fields like aerospace,,robotics, and defense but the con is the lower salary but it doesn’t seem too saturated? How do I decide which one? Or could ppl tell me their salary and day job experience in both?
