Milk & Grocery Store's
Lately, when I go to my local filling station which has a big grocery section and has a SuperMacs, Drive through and indoor section 🤔.
On different occasions, I notice that the Milk is in a Big upright trolley beside the fridge area, but not packed away.
As it's our local area sometimes it becomes a social visit, ( meeting neighbours)😅
Anyway, I eventually said it to the owner, Hi James, I am in the shop, 25 minutes and just to let you know, there's Milk on a trolley down by the fridge since I arrived. I wonder how long it's been there before I arrived?
He was not impressed with the staff as he had other customers returning Milk bottles in date but gone sour!
In our supervalu lately,
My son had to return 2 litres of milk, which on opening was in date for another 4 Days and it was lumpy coming out of the cartons.
Why are supermarket so relaxed about refrigeration of Milk asap,
It's done a lot of miles before reaching the supermarket,
Farm to Dairy producers, for pasteurisation, then it's bottled or whatever, for retail stores and travels miles around the nation, and on arrival to the store it's left sitting on the store floor for someone to place it in fridges.
