I used to play blues 10 hole C Harmonica at school, but got bored pretty fast because it was pretty limiting and I couldn't afford to buy different keys. But now I felt like I want get back to the hobby.
Found a variety of cheap chromatic harmonicas just to try, for example easttop forerunner harmonica, but it got me wondering. What key to choose? I couldn't find any info on the topic. I know the C is the standard. But How to know if other key is higher or lower? I guess key of E, F, G, A and B are lower and D is higher? I don't actually want to play really high, so mb it's ok to get the E key? But I'm not sure if it's actually a lower key and not some ultrasonic weapon.
Is there a standard for chromatic harmonicas keys or I could expect anything from cheap Chinese harmonicas?
