I was recently selected for the CERN Summer Student Programme. I’m really grateful to this community for the guidance.
I’m excited but also nervous since this will be my first time traveling abroad.Btw im from NMS south asia.
I have a couple of quick questions:
Is it okay to submit the registration form before arranging travel insurance, or must it be included before the deadline? Here friday and Saturday insurance companies stay off so..(6th may deadline)
What documents are usually required for the visa process?
Do I need to book flight tickets before applying for the visa?
Is the flight cost reimbursed under the travel allowance?
I’ve already contacted the summer student team but haven’t received a reply yet, so I thought I’d ask here.
