When adding a Wise debit card to Amazon, what billing address should be used?

* the real current residential address

or

* the address registered on the Wise account/card

In my case, the Wise card billing address is different from where I currently live, so I’m not sure what Amazon expects for verification.

Would appreciate real experiences from people who have used Wise with Amazon.

Has anyone had Amazon ask to verify a Wise debit card because the Amazon account holder name and card holder name were different?

I used my own Wise card on an Amazon account that was under another person's name, and it triggered a payment verification email.

My question is:

What usually happens in cases like this, and what is the best way people handle it?

If you submit your own card documents for verification, does Amazon usually allow the account to continue, or does it often lead to a permanent suspension?

In situations like this, what do people usually recommend based on experience:

* going through the verification process

* or abandoning/closing the account and starting fresh elsewhere
