My earnings from Slice
TLDR: I made $8.63 from Slice so far. Parts of the earnings were passive and other parts were semi-passive - but I probably earned an above minimum wage salary for the time spent all-in-all.
You may be asking now, what is Slice? Slice is a browser extension that displays tiny popup ads in the corner of your tab and for each ad you see, you get paid 0.4 slices, which is 4% of a cent (10 slices = 1 cent). It's definitely not much but completely passive and you don't even notice the popups if you're focussed on whatever you're doing.
What pays BETTER than Slice ads in the long run is to have a daily login bonus. Holding a login streak for 30 days or more yields 30 slices = 3 cents, all by simply visiting the Slice dashboard page. It's just 3 seconds for 3 cents a day, there's no captcha or even a claim button - don't miss a day though or you'll have to do another month of logins for the sweet 30 slices a day (I'll be honest, I missed a couple days...)
ANOTHER way I earned with Slice is with their Discord server, but there are 2 things worth mentioning:
- it's not completely passive
- you will be earning in satoshis (a subunit of Bitcoin) and not slices (only slices can be
redeemed for fiat)
The server has a bot called SLICEBOT (formerly Satsdropper) that gives sats for reacting to its messages, and there's frequently hosted rains and minedrops which are luck based but decent opportunities to earn nonetheless. There are also events like art contests or skribbl games that pay sats for participation and spontaneous giveaways like the giveaway channel that pays 10,000 sats to random entries. These aren't passive but don't require much effort, so I'd say it's worth visiting the Discord if you already use the Slice extension. Engaging with the community is also very fun but I'll leave it there as this paragraph is getting quite long.
The FINAL way I earned with Slice is through their offers. Most of these aren't worth your time but if you go for registration based ones, you can get paid a decent amount by signing up and/or installing their app. These are quite rare and aren't passive but registering via email for some shady gambling site, deleting the created gambling account and earning 1,500 slices isn't time consuming at all. Just don't fall down the rabbit hole of installing a game and trying to get to level gazillion to earn 10,000 slices.
