Which brands offer the quietest industrial compressors?
I'm trying to determine which brands of industrial air compressors actually are quieter in practice, and I'd like to hear from anyone who has actually tested them. As far as I've heard, rotary screw engines are generally quieter with piston engines, and some manufacturers make a point of producing quieter engines than others. I have noticed the Ingersoll Rand Kaeser Atlas Copco and even some smaller OEM alternatives being promoted at various industrial suppliers, Alibaba and other marketplaces, but it is hard to figure out which ones are really the quietest during normal production usage. Have you come across these in workshops or production scenes? Which brands are really low noise and at the same time, deliver top performance? I'm only trying to keep a balance between a system that runs 24/7 and at the same time doesn't make the workspace that loud after some time. Any real experience base help or any relevant comparison with regards.
