Advice Required Please - Taking Pip to Tribunal and submitting Change of Circumstances form (England)

Hi,

I'm hoping please for some advice only from people with direct experience of these things!

My partner has brain injury related illnesses. Bodily degeneration, memory and cognitive issues, foot drop, osteopenia, general weakness of his left side, and others I can't recall the names of (one to do with his limping gait).

Finally after a lot of problems with DWP we got a mandatory reconsideration through. Instead of 0 he was awarded 12 points. 8 for Daily Living Standard amount but only four for Mobility.

While pleased he has been awarded something, the DWP has firstly refused to look at any evidence since August 2025. Since then he has actually been diagnosed with a fractured neck and trapped nerve in his spine which both are impacting his mobility. He is waiting for surgery.

Secondly we think it's not right that they have concluded that he can 'walk safely' (I told them he can't; once he fell over five times in four days) .

We don't want any award reduced or taken away but Google Gemini suggests appealing the Reconsideration and also submitting the Change of Circumstances form for his neck fracture.

I've contacted two casework charities but haven't heard back. Apparently there is a low risk he could have his award taken away.

What should we do? Thanks!
