Have had dogs and cats for about 15 yrs in Colorado Springs city limits. This is the first year that a pet (dog ) of mine has had fleas here. Brought a few into the house/bed which is how I first noticed them, then saw bites on her. Heard a rumor that this year is particularly bad for fleas due to the warm winter and dry winter and the really hot spring. Is anyone else having issues with fleas and their pets this year? Curious....

I haven't had fleas on a pet since the mid 80s when I lived in North Carolina in a humid climate.

Note: Got meds from vet today, treated house etc. Not really looking for advice but curious if anyone else has had issues with fleas this year as compared to the Past.
