Last week, one of my parakeets escaped it's cage and started to fly around the room stressed. I attempted to bribe him with millet which didn't work and he bumped into a window so I picked him up for the first time and put him back into it's cage. Luckily he still trusts me and i had him go to the vet for any injuries which he fortunately didn't have. Despite it happening a week ago I still wonder if I should have done a different approach as I remember him biting me when I picked him up obviously stressed out. While he was fine after the whole incident I'm scared that he will never go out of his cage again.
