Should office guy turn to pilot?

Hey guys, I just can't hold to thinking about my pilot dream, and I want to hear your opinion.

I've been looking in the aviation industry for 10 years. Currently, I'm 28, Chinese, work in the game industry, my salary is normal, around 46k$/per year, can afford a ppl for sure. In 2022, I actually decided to try the Cathay Pacific cadet programme, turns out I'm colorweakness on green/red and failed on ishihara color test.

I gave it up.

This year, one of a pilot who I subscribed to on TikTok told me that

>Even you failed the ishihara color test, you still got a chance to become a commercial pilot.

After research, I found out there is a test Call lanten test, and I passed it.

That's really torturing me, which means there might be a chance that I can be a pilot someday somewhere.

Should I try the Cathay Pacific cadet programme? Or just come to US or AU for a cpl on my savings?
