Seriously Fuck Walmart
I had 6 days off this week. I needed these 6 days off because of a mental health crisis. I asked my team lead to please not call me in and she said she couldn’t do that because I am full time and held to a higher standard. A few days later she calls our coach and puts her on the phone with me. She asks “So you don’t want to work.” I’m stunned and I’m a very nervous person in general. I slowly say “No” and she hangs up on me. Needless to say I am 3 days into my 6 days and the coach calls me and ask me to come in tomorrow and for the rest of the week. I said yes because I have trouble with saying no. It was hard for me to say no the first time. I contact my team lead about an hour later and told her that I had too much going on for me to come in the next few days. She tells me to contact the coach myself which would be harder because she called me from a Walmart phone so I would have to go through customer service and I was not going to go all the way to Walmart and waste gas. She left me on delivered. A few hours later my schedule is changed. I sent my boss a message and just said “Never mind, she just changed the schedule.”
