I know this can be a difficult/controversial topic at times but our coaching staff just had this conversation and I was curious y’all’s opinions.
Considering honest scoring and AAA competition, what would you consider an average, Good and Elite Bat Avg?
As a staff we have various opinions on what stats to pay attention too but just curious specifically on Batting Avg what others are thinking.

I didn’t clarify in the original post but I meant AAA travel (we play USSSA).
I intentionally didn’t add our opinion but as a staff we collectively concluded 300s (avg) 400s (good) 500s (elite) based on what we’ve seen so far this season, seen a couple say pretty much the same. Bat avg is definitely not the sole measure, personally I’m a big OBP guy, but I appreciate the input. Always good to get a gauge of what others think or see.
