Say goodbye to burner phones? FCC robocall plan raises privacy fears
Private citizens will have to show IDs to get cell phone numbers, supposedly to combat robocalls. Meanwhile the corporations that buy blocks of thousands of cell numbers for internet of things will obviously not supply ids for each number they get. This cracks down on rights of private individuals instead of the bad corporate actors.
