Got invited to my first software development internship/practical semester interview in Germany and honestly I’m a bit nervous

I study International Information Systems and this would be my first real interview here in Germany.

They said the meeting will mostly be about getting to know each other, talking about the company, technologies they use, expectations during the internship, etc.

I just wanted to ask people who already went through similar interviews:

• What kind of technical questions should I realistically expect?
• How difficult are interviews usually for student internships?
• Is it okay if my German isn’t perfect and I switch to English sometimes for technical topics?
• What should I definitely prepare before going?

Would really appreciate any tips or experiences from people in software development internships in Germany.

I recently got invited to an in-person interview for a practical semester / internship position at a software company in Germany (mainly software development & enterprise systems related).

I’m an International Information Systems student and this would be one of my first real interviews in Germany, so I’m honestly a bit nervous.

- expectations during the practical semester
