Clarify before submitting PR application

Hi! Questions for everybody. Im still trying to finish my profile before submitting. I'm getting ready the documents. So i need to clarify some stuffs

  1. I got married in April 2012 and then like about one month after May 2012, I changed my ID in my country and added my husband's last name to mine, since then all my documents are with his last name added. Which document I have to submit for that? My marriage certificate is just with my last name, but my passport and my ID from my country are with my husband's last name because where issued after that addition. I don't know if I need something else.

  2. For the picture from me, my husband and my kids. We went to staples. They gave us the pictures in paper and also digital. The ones in paper have the name of the photo studio, address and date. They need something else? Do i just scan them both sides and submit or do I use just the digital pictures and just the front side?

  3. I saw in my 2 previous application (SOWP and SOWP extension) a mistake with my education degree. My incomplete studies + my complete studies from university were put all together like one period of time. But now when I created my EOI I just rectified that and put only the period that gave me my bachelor degree and thats why I received my points and my ITA just with that. Do I need to clarify that? Im not even gonna put those incomplete studies on my personal history because they happened more than ten years ago. But do I just put correct dates like when I created my EOI and my ECA and diploma and transcript or do I mention those mistakes in the past on my LOE?

THANKS A LOT FOR THE HELP

Hello. Question about if the company (canadian) refuse to give letter with the duties...They put absolutely everything but not the duties and they just answer by phone. I will use that letter that is letterhead + paystubs + T4 + NOA but i will provide letter from my 2 former direct supervisors, they put all and also the duties but their email and phone numbers are personal and the letters are not letterhead. I really don't know what else to do.

I'm not working there since one year ago, and if i use only the letter from my actual workplace i will be bellow the score of the draw which i received my ITA. I'm using both work experiences to gain points for 3 years canadian experience. Did someone here use a personal letter from a former employee with personal email and phone number and not letterhead and was successful? Specifically from Canadian Companies

On my previous applications for SOWP and SOWP extension I made a mistake. I misunderstood everything for education, I put all together as a whole package: period of a program I didn't finish + program which my degree is for. Now I'm the main applicant.

  1. Previous application: 2005 - 2011

  2. EOI + ITA accurate period for my degree: 2009-2011 (that is the actual period on my university certificate, diploma + ECA)

*My EOI was created with the accurate date and the ITA was also issued with that, my score was issued with those accurate dates and ECA information.

So what to do now? Submit everything like that with the accurate period and documents and no explanation? Or explain that I misunderstood at the pass and put everything including a period from a program I didn't finish? Even if is something that is more than 10 years agoThanks for your recommendation

Hello. I have a concern. In my previous applications I was always the spouse accompanying. This time with the ITA I'm the main applicant. So this is the thing the first time we came in 2022, at the form for coming with work permit on that part for education mine says the university, the program and the years august 2005-december 2011. Same information says on my forms as spouse when my husband applied for his PGWP in 2024, on my form was the same info. Now, at that time I understood that you have to put your time at university, that's why I put 2005 to 2011 because I began university at 2005 but later at December 2008 I stopped studying that program and changed it, then at march 2009 i started my program which my degree is for and finished December 2011. The university validated a bunch of the subjects I took and passed on my old program that I did between 2005-2008 but now checking my original certificates from university everything is from March 2009 to December 2011of course because that'sthe period of my bachelor degree. On the subjects validated they put that VALIDATED. So my degree is from 2009 to 2011, my ECA is done with that degree, my bachelor diploma also shows that. So what I should do now? Just put the dates according to the ECA and certificates? 2009 to 2011 and 3 full academic years? Those are the dates that gave me my degree, previous years were incomplete because I changed the program but the subjects were validated, not all but like the half. Should I just put just the dates according my degree and ECA? or do that and also explain on a LOE that on previous applications I put my whole university life including the years that are not part of the whole degree in fact but they will see that the subjects were in part validated for the university? They just put validated, they didn't put from what year. I don't know if this is misrepresentation or what. Thanks for your help

By the way, some friends that are already PR or citizens say I'm overreacting and that I should just put the dates now according my certificates and ECA. Just to make it clear, my expression of interest was created with the years 2009-2011 and is still like that after the ITA.
