My GF was in a accelerated nursing program(2024). She was not able to complete due to financial reasons, while having one semester left as a 4.0 student her school gave no help or assistance. Went the loan route but got denied constantly. No family or friends around to help her financially. Went to a CUNY school to try for a ADN but since her previous transcripts have nursing on it she can’t register for the program. They only accept students who never attended any nursing schools prior. We are currently living in NYC, does any one have any ideas on how to help? I really would like her to become the RN she deserves to be but the road is very difficult.
