Driving after a broken ankle

Just wondering what it was like for people to be driving again post broken ankle (with surgery). I had an R) ORIF 6 weeks ago, hopefully start WB tomorrow. I have a comminuted compound fracture, ankle dislocation and syndesmosis injury and severe deltoid rupture. I’m finding all the pain where the ligament damage was. Things are improving slowly. My job requires me to drive on and off at least 6hrs of the day, and I’m wondering how my ankle is going to deal with that.

Comminuted fracture distal tibia

Just curious if anyone has had a similar fracture and what the recovery was like? I’m currently 6 weeks post op ORIF. Had an avulsion fracture of the deltoid ligament, dislocation and compound fracture too. Will hopefully start properly weight bearing tomorrow.

I’m 3.5 weeks post ankle surgery ORIF. My wound has opened up a little at the bottom. What is the usual course of action for this? Should I worry?

I’ve put some tight steri strips and a clean dressing on it. Wondering if I should see the dr tomorrow.
