vent: seeing dairy free products leave shelves in huge numbers

It feels like over the past few years, I’ve seen more and more of my favorite dairy free treats just…..gone. The lindt bars used to be at Vons alongside the oat truffles. Now theyre all gone!

And at Sprouts I’m seeing more dairy free brands disappearing as they announce ”new seed-oil free products” over the loudspeaker and they get more brands with dairy 🤣

I am hoping once this MAHA trend has blown over, we can have more dairy-free stuff. Maybe the 2030s will be a dairy free renaissance. I lowkey miss so many things from the 2010s. I remember as a teen in 2017 for example I enjoyed rebel kitchen chocolate coconut mylk.

I’m also wondering if lack of dairy free products is not only due to maha but also problems with the economy right now. Where families arent willing to pay a premium for dairy free treats and would rather go without.
