Is anyone else struggling to get a job as an Enrolled Nurse?
I finished my Diploma of Nursing in October 2025, got my AHPRA registration, and have placement + support work experience, but I still haven’t been able to get an EN job. Not even an interview.
I’ve applied everywhere — hospitals, aged care, clinics, grad programs — and it’s honestly so frustrating. People keep talking about “nursing shortages” but new grads can’t even get a chance.
Starting to feel really discouraged. How long did it take everyone else to get their first EN job?
