I’m currently taking 40mg of Vyvanse at 5am. My doctor has also prescribed 5mg dexamphetamine boosters and said I can take 1–2 tablets if needed. Today, I started noticing the Vyvanse dip around midday and took one 5mg dex at approximately 12:45pm. By around 3pm, I still experienced the full crash symptoms - headache, irritability, exhaustion etc. Tomorrow, would it make more sense to: try taking 5mg earlier, around 11:30am, and possibly another 5mg around 2pm if needed, or take 10mg together around 11:30am–12pm instead?

I am currently on 40mg which I take around 5am. My doctor has just prescribed me x2 5mg of dex. I know everyone is going to be different, but I’m wanting to know what times most people are adding in their top ups?
