Howdy! New here-

I cannot seem to understand the 'logic' here. This is a "Really Hard" puzzle from Puzzle Barron. Can anyone help explain this better? I can provide better photos if needed

(See clue 9) it prompts hints of this nature from this clue several times and I'm just not picking up what they're putting down

Jade Plant Advice

Howdy!

My Jade is 15+ years old (I wouldn't doubt 20+.. she's just gone through some rough patches. Please be gentle 😭)

Recently my apartment complex posted that we cannot have ANYTHING on our porches - we don't have enclosed porches or patios, basically just concrete right out front. It was a dark time for the absolutely amazing porch gardens around here .. but I digress.

My Jade spent about 2 months in my office/storage room, holding on for dear life. You can see alot of leaf drop offs and the soil isn't happy either (but I assume this issue has needed tending too well prior to this situation).

I have some responsibility here and I'm taking it. Honestly, I think I took this beautiful plant for granted and seeing it in such a sorry state after all this just kicked me in the ass. Any advice is appreciated. Edit-, I was able to get it back outside, just in a different spot. My boyfriend placed it in the office when we got the notice. Prior to this, my mom who lives with us (she stays home well we both work) has been the one to oversee the plants. She's been out of state for about 5 months - the place it was on our patio up till now, received intermediate watering from the sprinkler system. This is where my sad Revelation came from when I went to retrieve it from the office 😅

*I bought succulent soil and a slightly larger pot, but should I just tend to the soil? Is the pot (size) still okay?

Some background:

My step mom purchased this Jade when it was only a cup of leaves - it has gone through many moves, lived a long life potted in a backyard and has spent the last 5 years with me. You can tell by the trunk, it was once voluminous - I guess I never appreciated it the way I should have, but it hasn't quit and neither am I lol time to learn
