I wanted to share this programa that has been helping me during this rought patch. If you’re in colorado and lost your job due to your DACA status you can apply here to receive some financial help. The help is taxable and they go off your W-2 to acommotade the amount you receive. I did run it through my lawyer to make sure they were no possible repercussions in the future when applying for legal status. They assured me it was fine as long as your DACA status is very clear in the application! It a fairly simple application process, I’ve been receiving help form them for almost a month now and have had no issues. Through I would share in hope to help anyone struggling in Colorado!
