Just saw this morning that 2nd gen devices, e.g., D26HD (Dimmer), that have Matter already got updated from 2.1.25 > 2.3.41, while devices that were not available yet, e.g., D2MSD (Motion Dimmer) & D24SF (Fan Speed), are now able to upgrade from 1.6.8 > 2.3.41 as well.

As a reminder when you upgrade from HomeKit (1.x) to Matter (2.x), they get removed from HomeKit and you have to re-pair them with the new Matter code. Press and hold the on button for 6 seconds to enter pairing mode, then add in HomeKit. They showed up as uncertified for me, so maybe Apple hasn’t updated their database yet.
