Struggling. Care needed exceeds hours allotted

Hi all. Live in caregiver here for my 78yo Mom with Parkinson's plus multiple other diagnoses.

I am finding that the hours given for tasks via the IHSS formulary are totally inadequate. I essentially have 4-5 hours per day to complete all cg tasks, however I'm finding that it's more like 12+ hours waking time, plus the middle of the night accidents, etc that I'm needed.

Is keeping a daily task plus time needed for each, tracking it, and sending it to the worker what I need to do?

Her doctor's will sign off on anything we need bc they see how much she has declined, I'm just unsure of where to start.

Any suggestions?

Calfresh underpayment?

County: San Diego

Age: 78

Disabled

Income: Social Security $1070 per month

Room rent: $671

Pays for: phone, SDG&E, Internet

Calfresh amount: $173

Per a calculator we used, this individual should be receiving a higher EBT amount. Unsure of what the discrepancy is. Best to contact Calfresh?

Thanks in advance!
