Wellp,

Up until this point, everything was going pretty smoothly. Did my SUPER and passed pretty fine but was later escorted out of the venue by support staff and a UD officer because they apparently saw something they didn’t like in my eAPP or Supplemental Security Clearance Forms.

Thing is, I reviewed those documents again very carefully after this and, for the life of me, I can’t see a single thing that could be considered derogatory enough to warrant my removal from the hiring process without at least providing me a chance to explain myself during Security. Was advised to reapply. Leaving extremely disappointed.

Anyone got any input on this? Also, how soon am I eligible to reapply?

I hope you’re all well. Thank you to those that helped out with my previous post. I’m making this one because I have some more questions regarding the SF-86, which I’m filling out for the US Secret Service.

First of all, the Relatives section. So, I currently live with my mother, my sister, and my mother’s long term boyfriend since 2017. Since they’re not technically married, do I need to put him down on the SF-86 as my step-father, maybe?

Also, my girlfriend and I have been together for 6+ years. Do I need to put down her parents as my in-laws even if we’re not legally married?

Now, I want to disclose some stupid minor illegal stuff I did that I’m not proud of at all, as well as a traffic ticket that was initially $100, but accrued significant surcharges as I forgot about it completely and was paid in full a few years ago, but I can’t find a specific place in the SF-86 to disclose them, as it focuses on serious crimes and stuff.

Lastly, I have a very very very vague memory of possibly taking a weed gummy less than 7 years ago, but I can’t for the life of me recall if I ACTUALLY took it or if I rejected it. What should do?

I appreciate any help I can get. I apologize if anything I asked seems obvious. Haven’t filled out an SF-86 many times and am still learning.

I’m making this post because I’m in the process of filling out my SF-86 for the Secret Service. I’ve got everything else filled out, but the Cohabitants part is where I have some questions.

For context, I currently reside with my family (mother, sister, and mother’s long-term boyfriend). So, my question is — does my family fall within the category of cohabitants? Yes, this is a genuine question. I apologize if it’s a stupid or obvious one.

If you guys could help me out with that, I’d appreciate it a lot.
