A Freelancing Lesson I Learned From an XY App Project

Recently faced a situation with an XY app project that taught me an important lesson about project scope and post-launch responsibilities.

The app was completed successfully and everything was working properly during delivery. Later, a policy/configuration-related issue appeared because certain backend URLs were no longer accessible properly.

What I learned from this experience:

• Always define project scope clearly
• Clarify backend/client responsibilities before starting
• Keep proof of completed work and approvals
• Document everything professionally
• Post-launch issues are not always directly related to the original development work

Freelancing is not just about coding - communication and scope management matter just as much.

Built a Metro Guide app for Surat 🚇

As Surat Metro continues to grow, I noticed there wasn’t one simple place where commuters could quickly check metro routes, station details, and basic travel information without searching in multiple places.

So I built SurtiGo Metro Guide — a local app made specifically for Surat commuters.

The goal is simple: make daily metro travel easier by providing route guidance, station information, and quick access to metro-related details in one place.

I built this keeping everyday users in mind — students, office workers, and anyone using the metro to save time in the city.

This is still improving, and I’d genuinely love feedback from people in Surat:

• What features would you want in a metro app?
• Live train timings?
• Fare calculator?
• Route planner?
• Station navigation?

Would appreciate honest feedback and suggestions from fellow Surti🙌

I realized I’ve been wearing the same outfits on repeat 😅

So I decided to try something different — a 16-day outfit challenge where I wear a new look every single day.
And honestly… it’s already making me feel more confident and creative 🔥

I’m using an app to get daily outfit ideas, but it’s currently in testing mode.

👉 Step 1: Join the testing group (required for access)
https://groups.google.com/g/codespark-tester

👉 Step 2: After joining, download the app here
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=codespark.clozzy.ai

I also made the group for sharing outfits, ideas, and progress during the challenge 👗✨

If you're into fashion (or just tired of repeating the same looks), try this with me 😄

Let’s see who actually completes all 16 days 💯🔥

I’m really frustrated with the after-sales service from Croma.

I booked a General AC service on 6th March, and since then there has been no call, no technician visit, and no proper update from their side.

Every time I contact support, they just generate a new request ID instead of resolving the existing issue. I now have multiple request IDs, but still no actual service or callback.

It’s been several days and the problem is still the same. For a company of this scale, I expected much better customer support.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of issue with Croma’s after-sales service?
