How to cut and build muscle
I am about M35 225lbs, 5’10. I do a 6 day split PPLPPLR.
I am trying to cut by trying to fast (skipping breakfast) until 12pm. I have my last meal at 6pm the day before and fast 16 hours, that includes the time I sleep. When I break my fast at 12p(noon) I’ll eat a sandwich made out of wheat bread and lots of turkey ham to make sure I have enough protein, I add lettuce, onions, and avocado and also eat a piece of fruit like an apple. At 2pm I’ll eat a protein bar (25g protein) and at 4pm I drink a protein shake(50g protein) a banana and a granola bar (carbs for pre workout) at 4:30pm I do my workout, it takes me an hour. At 6 I have my dinner- sweet potato with lean ground beef, cottage cheese and topped with pico de gallo and for dessert I’ll have an orange. Am I doing good or should I eat different, will fasting help me lose weight and am I eating enough protein? How can I go about this? Any advice helps.
