I have been doing some re-reads and wonder if anyone else has noticed that several of the male supporting cast in relationships are based on Romance character archetypes?

Relc - Urban Romance (Cowboy Cop)

Tyrion - Time-Travel Romance (Widowed Medieval Lord)

Olesm - Historical Romance (Napoleonic Wars Lieutenant -> General)

Grimalkin - Regency Romance (Shy scholarly supporting male lead)

EDIT:-

Lism - Is less an archetype and more of a shout-out to 2 of Michael Douglas' roles. Early Lism was William Foster (Falling Down) and current Lism is Andrew Shepherd (The American President)
