Hi everyone, I’m an admitted incoming student with offers from both Waterloo MEng ECE Co-op and MDSAI Co-op, and I’m deciding between them before my deadline. I’d really appreciate any quick current-student perspective on either program.

I’m mainly curious about the co-op reality, things like the kinds of roles people are actually getting, whether the support feels decent, and whether students aiming for software / security / AI-adjacent roles are finding relevant placements.
