I recently bought a notebook for chess reasons and have no clue what to put in it any ideas? Im roughly 1k elo if that makes a difference

I wanted to learn an opening vs d4 and decided to watch a Gotham chess beginner opening video and he recommend the dutch defense vs d4. I am currently 1000 elo and want to have an opening i can use till 2k elo any advice/ suggestions?

I recently made a post about the opening I played and what I should be playing instead. I was playing the Catalan and Sicilian but sense then dropped them both. I have started to learn the Italian for white and the Caro Kann vs E4 and Slav vs d4. My goal is to go from 700 to 2k some day are these opening worth studying and putting time into?

I am currently at 700 elo but my peak was 1k on a different account. I feel like i am stuck in a loop of no matter what I cant win. My current openings are the Sicilian and the Queen gambit/Catalan if declined. I understand that the Sicilian should be played at higher elo but I feel as if I learn it from an earlier elo I will have a better understanding of it by the time I hit 2k which is my end goal. Any tips to escape this loop?
