I started following Chiara and her sister Amelia over a year ago. Initially, I really liked their content but over the last few months I’ve been kind of weirded out by what I’m seeing and I’m wondering if you may see it too.

Chiara has been living with her husband in her childhood bedroom at her parent’s house while they renovate her grandparents old home to become their forever home. That’s totally reasonable except it’s been about 3 years, they’re expecting and they still haven’t moved in.

Neither Chiara nor Amelia have jobs. It’s clear they come from a family of privilege. They pretty much lounge around their parents mansion all day. Other than filming content, Chiara claimed to be her dog Baccio’s primary caretaker (which seemed to be a full-time job) and Amelia spent her days making her TBI her entire personality on the internet and becoming extremely co-dependent on her family. Neither of them seem to have any friends and only ever film being alone or with each other.

When their dog sadly passed, they expressed how difficult it has been for them. But it just got more and more dramatic with Amelia getting a tattoo in his honor and Chiara writing to him in a journal? I understand grieving a pet but she claimed she couldn’t get out of bed or fathom living her life without Baccio by her side. Mind you, the dog lived a full and long life. But everyone handles grief differently I guess…

Chiara recently announced she was pregnant with a girl. The internet was elated, but she seemed…off. Not sure if it’s just because she has a permanent case of RBF or the fact that she subtly makes it clear she hates being pregnant due to weight gain. Rather than embrace her bump, she tries to hide it and is somehow convinced she looks fat and doesn’t look pregnant. She even made a post saying she’s convinced she’s going to go into labor before 40 weeks and hopes she doesn’t go past her due date. I get body insecurity but…you’re growing a human being…get over yourself.

I no longer follow them, but their content seems to pop up anyways and I just feel that they aren’t relatable. Is anyone else seeing this or am I being overly critical?
