Nice little sunset i caught

This leads to my villager infecting area and i decided to board it up till its used, did i cook?
i can make a small opening in the bottom to make it look broken into.
Just need some validation lol, first time being creative with blocks

Was raiding ancient cities for fun and found this lone golem.

So I tried to build a house and tried for the life of me to make it good, even slapped on shaders. Despite all this, the house still looks ahh. How do i improve in building?
